Members of the Cast: Swing Trousers

Members of the Cast is a Young Adult novel set in 1959. In the course of the story, Maggie begins to wear some of her great aunt’s vintage clothes.

I didn’t know much about women’s fashion, so I did considerable research.

In Chapter 48, Maggie wears a pair of swing trousers to the roller rink, complete with polka-dot shoes—much like this:
