The Grade
Book
The screen
image below is a clip of the main grade book screen from a mix of
traditional and standards. It is a Windows screen, but the Mac OS looks
and operates just like this. The students are sorted by last name in
this example. The standards-based indicators shown are typical
of what many districts are using. At the top of the column you
see the word Latest which means this teacher has chosen to have PGGP
use the last assessment for any standards assessed more than once.
(Mean would indicate that each standard assessed more than once
is being averaged.) Next to the standard-based grade is a
traditional grade.
Notice that the traditional grades are percentage grades and
the rubric scored grades are using a 5 point scale. You don't have to use a 5 point and it is used as an example.
